How to Choose?

Different levels of digital technology are available, from the very basic to extremely complex insturments that offer very sophisticated and automatic sound processing, noise reduction, feedback and wind-noise management, and a variety of programming capabilities. Your audiologist will work with you to help you determine which level of technology is best suited to your lifestyle and budget.

In-The-Ear models (ITE):

Any hearing instruments that are worn in the ear. They come in the four basic styles shown below. They are suitable for hearing losses ranging from mild to severe. The smallest ITE models are called CIC (completely-in-the-canal), and they are seated completely in the canal and are therefore hardly visible.

Behind-The-Ear models (BTE):

The versatile and powerful hearing instruments that are worn behind the ear. They can be employed for all degrees of hearing losses. They offer fitting flexibility and reliability, as well as the longest battery life. Available in a large variety of colors to either blend with hair or skin color, or to show off your hi-tech ears!

microStyle generation models: These state-of-the art hearing instruments are small and feather-light. The ergonomic design, combined with the extremely thin tubing, results in a uniquely satisfying cosmetic solution.
